Improv workshops for teams across Scotland's Central Belt.
Communication training at your own office, anywhere from Glasgow and Edinburgh out to Stirling, Falkirk, Lanarkshire and Ayrshire. Sessions run from two hours to a full day and cover listening, building on other people's ideas and recovering from mistakes in front of colleagues. From £400.
There's no shortage of activity days in the Central Belt. This is a different kind of booking.
Escape rooms, city hunts and game shows are good fun, and teams enjoy them. They're built to give you a good afternoon. These sessions are built to change how the team talks to each other on Monday.
A good afternoon
Photographs, better moods, and colleagues from different teams who've finally spoken to each other. If that's what you're after, book one and enjoy it.
A team that works differently on Monday
People who have practised listening under pressure, building on someone else's idea and recovering out loud from a mistake. They come away with a shared vocabulary that keeps turning up in meetings.
Sessions run on your premises, anywhere in the Central Belt.
Glasgow carries no travel charge. Everywhere else pays mileage at the HMRC rate, 45p a mile from Glasgow and back, with the exact figure on the quote before you book. Edinburgh comes to about £40, Stirling about £25.

Do we need any improv experience?
None. Most people in the room have never done it before, and the first exercise is built for exactly that. There's nothing to prepare and nothing to read.
Will anyone have to perform in front of the group?
No. Everything is played in pairs or small groups and it is opt-in throughout. The rule is said out loud in the first two minutes: everyone takes part, nobody performs alone.
How much does a team improv workshop cost in Glasgow or Edinburgh?
From £400 for a two-hour session with up to 25 people, at your office. No travel charge in Glasgow. Everywhere else adds mileage at 45p a mile from Glasgow and back, about £40 for Edinburgh. Every price is on the rate card.
How many people can take part?
Up to 25 with one facilitator. From 26 to 50 a second facilitator comes along, and from 51 to 100 a third. The Management Lab is capped at 16.
Where do sessions happen?
At your office, in any room with space for people to stand in a circle. No boardroom table. If you would rather hire a space, I can suggest a few in Glasgow or Edinburgh city centre.
How far do you travel?
Anywhere in the Central Belt. Glasgow has no travel charge. Everywhere else pays mileage at the HMRC rate, 45p a mile from Glasgow and back, so Edinburgh comes to about £40 and Stirling about £25. The exact figure is on the quote.
Can you run it online for a hybrid team?
No. The exercises depend on people being in a room together, so I only run them in person.
How far ahead should we book?
Two to three weeks is comfortable. Sessions run on weekdays, and there are late-afternoon slots for teams who would rather not lose a morning.
What if the session doesn't work for our team?
Then you don't pay for it. Tell me within seven days of the session and the fee is refunded in full, deposit included.
