Applied Improv Scotland is a one-person sole-trader practice based in Glasgow. This page says what is collected, why, how long it is kept and how to get rid of it. Last updated 28 August 2026.

Just two forms.
The enquiry form asks for contact details (name, organisation, email, an optional phone number) and the shape of the session: how many people, which one interests you, roughly when, what you want it to change, and any access needs. All of it is typed by you and none of it is collected any other way.
The mailing list form asks for an email address only.
Nothing on this site profiles you, follows you between sites, or builds a picture of you from anywhere else.
To reply to you, or send what you signed up for.
Enquiry details are used to reply, to price a session and to run it if you book one. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before we have a contract, and performing that contract afterwards.
Mailing list addresses are used to send the fortnightly writing and nothing else. The lawful basis is your consent, given by submitting the form. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Cloudflare hosts this site and routes mail for the domain. Resend sends the messages the forms generate. Google Workspace holds the mailbox those messages land in. Each of them processes the data on my instructions and none of them uses it for anything of their own.
Data is stored in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or the United States under the suppliers' standard transfer safeguards.
Nothing is sold, rented or passed to anyone else. If a booking goes ahead, your organisation's name and the invoice sit with my accountant and with HMRC, because the law requires it.
Enquiries are kept two years, invoices seven, and the mailing list until you unsubscribe.
Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted after two years. Booking records and invoices are kept for seven years, because HMRC requires it.
Mailing list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a record that you unsubscribed, so that you are not added again by accident.
This site sets none.
This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts that identify you. If visitor numbers are measured, it is with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without following anyone between sites.
The contact form loads Cloudflare Turnstile to keep automated spam out. Turnstile checks the browser, not the person, and Cloudflare's own privacy terms apply to it.
Ask and I'll sort it.
You can ask for a copy of what's held about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to it being used, or leave the mailing list. Email hello@appliedimprovscotland.com and you'll have a reply within one working day and the request done within a month.
If you are not happy with how it was handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
The date at the top tells you.
If this notice changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no archive of old versions, because there has only ever been this one.
